Experience the Stuibenfall at first hand, of course! Hikers reach the starting point of the waterfall in Niederthai via approx. 700 steps and a suspension bridge, past viewing platforms and the thundering masses of water. Unique alpine flora lends the Stuibenfall a dignified ambience and on sunny days a large rainbow often sets a colourful highlight that no visitor will forget in a hurry.
The hike to the foot of the Stuibenfall takes about 0.5 - 1 h from the Bischoffsplatz car park. Up to there, the path is also perfectly suitable for children as well as prams and buggies. Once there, you can experience the concentrated power of the falling water masses on the two platforms located directly at the waterfall. From there you can only continue on foot without prams and buggies. Via the suspension bridge and approx. 700 steps, the hiker reaches the other viewing platforms.
The Stuibenfall is also a highlight for all climbers. To the left and directly next to the tumbling masses of water is a via ferrata for experienced climbers. First-class protection and a unique experience in the lower to medium difficulty range. The via ferrata Stuibenfall with 450 climbing lengths requires surefootedness and a head for heights. Children from the age of 10 and a minimum height of 140 cm can also "climb" the natural spectacle of the Stuibenfall near Umhausen.
